Wednesday 8 May [1918]
Fine day. Up at 8.30. Stood by all the morning. Went up to test guns for a short time. Off on patrol at 2 p.m. No scrapping. Up for 3 hours & landed at 53 for petrol. Had tea with Major Henderson. Back to squadron later. Played cut-throat bridge in evening.
