Sunday 30 June [1918]
Up at 9.30. To 10 Mass at Spanish Place with Mary & Maurice. Said good bye to old Bry who goes to France tomorrow. Poor old Aunty, I am so sorry she has all this worry! Caught the 11.45 from Paddington. An awful slow journey! Got to Oxford about 2. Had lunch at the Randolph. Wandered round & saw Minchin & yarned with him. Caught the 4.15 on to Witney. Had tea with the Tarrant's & changed & went to the aerodrome. Did dual till 8. Down to dinner.
