Up at 10. Taxi to Paddington with Aunty & Mary and luggage & got their tickets etc. They left by the 11 train for Fowey. Back to Ford's & then taxi to Cox's, Scotts & Junior A. & N. & bought shoes etc. Took Margaret to lunch at the Berkley & we went to the zoo after. Had a great old yarn over many things. Tea at Fullers in Regent St. I went to Cooling & Lawrence & Junior A. & N., & Dunhills & then back to hotel to change. Dinner at Prince's & took Margaret to the Empress Rooms where we danced vigorously till 11.15. Saw her home & then back to bed. Found a letter from Lane waiting for me.
