Saturday 30 November [1918]
Up at 10. Very "dud" with thick fog. Worked in the office in the morning. Before lunch it cleared a bit & I tried to fly to Barnsley but the weather was hopeless. Back to the Wing to lunch. Went down town & did a bit of shopping. In evening went with Turning, Sparkes & Collingwood to "Yes Uncle". Met Lady Vinogradoff there, also Gaze who was shot down, taken prisoner & escaped.
