Tuesday 18 June [1918]
Up at 10. To Regent Palace where we met the Horseleys & Helen Barlow. Maurice & I off to Cox's & then to the Shipping Agency about Claye's kit. Got theatre seats & bought socks. Lunch at Petit Riche. Took a taxi to Palladium & had a slight collision on the way. The Palladium show was rather "dud". Maurice came round to Grosvenor with me & had tea. Met the others at the Regent Palace. Cis & Austie joined us at "Rendezvous" for dinner & we all went to "By Pigeon Post" at the Garrick. It was an exciting but utterly impossible show. Tea at Regent Palace & then back to Grosvenor.
Cable to Mother wishing her a happy birthday.
