Thursday 26 September [1918]
Up at 9. To Port Meadow & tested my Avro. Flew to Witney in the Bristol & tested Capel. Back to lunch at the wing. To the Group in afternoon to see Colonel Freeman & stayed there till nearly six. Back to Wing with Tweedie. Changed & went to Rendcomb with Sparkes, Beaver and Twining for dinner & a concert. An excellent evening. Back to bed about 2 a.m.!
