Monday 19 August [1918]
Up at 9.30. Flew to Weston on the Green before lunch. Had lunch there & tested a pupil in the afternoon. Back to the Wing for tea & then to Port Meadow & gave some dual. Wrote letters after dinner. Aunty Mary wrote to say that dear old Bryan was killed by the concussion of a bomb.
