Tuesday 10 September [1918]
Up at 10 feeling very weary. Very "dud" & windy day. Down to Port Meadow & flew with Beaver in the morning. To London by the 2.12 train. Found Aunty & Mary at tea with Mick Bull & Allan Cooper. Had a great old yarn with them & Maurice who came in later. They are just wonderfully brave about everything. After dinner we had a great old exchange of our earliest reminiscences. It is great to see them again.
