Monday 30 December [1918]
Up at 10. Went to Port Meadow & flew the Pup. Left at 12.10 on the Pup & flew to Cambridge. Landed in a field & enquired for Mrs. Lassetter. Took off again & landed on a football field. Found the house & had lunch with Mrs. Lassetter. Left about 3 & flew back to Oxford against a very strong wind. A very rough journey. Landed about 4.30. Back to tea at the Wing. After dinner I delved into the demobilisation question.
