Thursday 19 December [1918]
Up at 9.30. Beautiful fine morning but very cold. To Port Meadow and flew the Bristol for an hour & a half writing notes on its tricks. Flew Avro to Witney for lunch. Very high wind in the afternoon so I flew back to Oxford with Beaver. Worked in the office till 7. Changed & went to dinner at Vinogradoffs & to Miss Allens dance after. Back to bed about 1.30.
