Wednesday 17 April [1918]
Up at 8.30. General Salmond came to visit the squadron in the morning & was very pleasant. Cloudy & overcast all day. Went up with Claye & had some target practice before tea. Went to tea with "C" Flight. Played bridge after dinner with C.O., Claye & Chambers.
Whistance & the C.O. are both "crocked" with twisted ankles after yesterday's football.
