Saturday 22 June [1918]
Up at 6 a.m. Rode to aerodrome but it was very windy & generally unfit for dual. Down to Breakfast. Back to Aerodrome. Had a talk to the C.O. about the arrangement of work and he agreed to adopt my programme. After lunch rode to the Workhouse. Had tea at billet with the Tarrants. Started a letter to Mother & Father. Went off at 6 p.m. to Oxford. Dinner at the Randolph with Wessel & to the theatre to see a Pierrot show after. Back to bed about 12. Met Foster at the Randolph.
