Tuesday 14 May [1918]
Up at 10. Clouds low. Went up before lunch to test my gun. Fired over 700 rounds & got countless stoppages! After lunch worked on the gun & practically renewed everything! After tea it the weather cleared & Claye & I did a trip along the lines on the off chance of finding a stray two-seater. No luck but an interesting trip. Played a little bridge after dinner.
