Monday 4 March Tuesday 5 March [1918]
Up at 10. Very "dud" in morning. Cleared a bit in afternoon & later became quite fine. Francis has sprained his ankle in the disturbance last night & Watson was assaulted by Dawson the new observer who apparently knocked him down & then pummelled him. Altogether a most disgraceful show on Dawson's part which has caused such indignation in the squadron that there is nothing for Dawson to do except apply for a transfer to another squadron.
Did various jobs during the day getting ready for the move.
