Saturday 20 April [1918]
Up at 7.30 but too "dud" for patrol. Runciman landed into a row of "C" Flight machines & "wrote off" his own & another bus! Colonel Freeman & Colonel Holt came round. In afternoon took Davis up & lost 10 francs to him as I failed to make him sick in 10 minutes!! Back to aerodrome after tea to watch Whistance firing at target. Perren crashed another machine. Played bridge after dinner.
