Up at 8. Breakfast at Y.M.C.A. Busy in the camp till lunch time. Lunch at the Y.M.C.A. In afternoon issued extra kit to men. Tea at Y.M.C.A. No orders for us yet! Down town with Davis, Claye & Wells. To the American Bar & then to Tortonis. Met Watson & Hay there & had a cheery dinner party. Went to the Folies Bergere after – a very poor show. Claye, Wells & I got fed up about 10.45 so left & returned to camp by taxi.
