Thursday 4 April [1918]
Very foggy day. Up at 10. Walked over to 25 & back with Claye, Wells & Robinson. In afternoon took my gun down & aligned the sights. Fitted the new gadget for speeding up the rate of fire. It seems to be a wonderful improvement. Played bridge after dinner with the C.O., Claye & Wells.
