Tuesday 15 January [1918]
Up at 9. Rather "dud". Spent the morning on the range setting my sights. Started to rain about 11. After lunch went to Parrish's funeral. Major Smith & I went off to Morton in Marsh to see Hewins. [or Hewens ?] Snowing heavily when we started. Had tea at the Hospital & started back. Had to push the car up a steep hill on account of the snow. Got back about 6.30. After dinner yarned for a bit & then to bed & wrote letters. Allen & Robinson have arrived from 59 T.S. [Training Squadron] for my flight.
