War with Germany and Austria - Campaign 1914-15
Am in good nick now will send letter to-morrow. Plenty of drill to-day. The Major told us that we would see about four more weeks of Sydney then we will make a start for "turks".
Will I send plates or keep them for when you come up, but I think it would be better to post them.

Dear Mother,
Just to let you know that I arrived safely in "Camp", at 12.15. Will send that "good stuf" down in the morning. We are having a snifter concert up here to-night, at the "Sallys". Had a tart as soon as I got in which was snifter, and have got some left for to-morrow. I bought these cards six for 6d off a woman who came to the tent, have got some funny ones. send Auntie Eve's address. Have got my "Blue Rig" out also sox & underclothing.
