Th We heard and read about the medals about to be struck for the parents of those serving with the colours.
Thank you very much for the cake you are sending per - to Sgt Richards. Mrs Bunton will always be glad to keep writing, she writes me lovely letters. Received a letter from Dad last week, expect we will get a lot of mail in a few days. Your letters come as regularly as any ones. I know you write, don't think that I say you are not writing.
Hope Rod is progressing favourably but tell him not to make another trip.
