Dear Mrs Bunton,
Please excuse me for causing such a delay in reply to your last letter which I think was dated November.

What made me write more than anything in particular is re photographs you have - Mother has just been simply craving for one of those photographs of myself - the ones which were taken with the hat off, besides a great many more people. It is very kind of you to think of sending my little treasures home, also for burning those letters which you took care of for me.

We are having glorious weather over here now, the sun is simply delicious and is nice and warm; more like Australian weather than it usually is, although we have some snow, that only lasted for two or three days so why worry over things of the past.

Fritzy could never break through this line we are all confident at that, but of course we can't be over confident; if he does think he can
