left for Cairo, but went there in the train as we could not find a cab;  we always go in the first class end too.  Well we arrived in Cairo and had tea at the "PETROGRAD" Hotel, which I may say is a very nice & fashionable place, and a lovely place for music.  It was a good tea, so nice that we forgot all about the enemy, and were just in time after taking a taxi to catch the train to where we are now.  In the morning before dinner we went to a little shop where we bought our views, we both had a good old yarn to the girl in the shop, she was telling us all about the war, and said she was not in favour of the Germans, and would love to see us win.  She has been to Australia too, but only came out for a trip;  I got her to register my views, which she was only too pleased to
