papers from Sydney, and Melbourne sometimes, but you know how old they are, some are dated back as far as June. I have not forgotten your advice, that is if I am wounded, to cable you. "Fire Man" [?] is the cable address for Uncle Sydney [?] Marcus. Week end cables I think are only 4½d a word.  You shant get a long letter this time Mum dear, but shall write again when I get a chance. Am writing to Gin & Dad also. That was a mean sneak to take that money out of my letter, and I wont trust another one but lul luckil for him he never came on our boat, for he disembarked near the heads.  Well good-bye Mum dear, and I hope this will find you in good health as well as rest.
