I have never seen a cow since leaving the early part of our train voyage, the north of France.

Going through France is like N.S.W. country, but when an express goes by it soon alter things, as these trains fly past, they do go at a some speed.

It is starting to grow cold now, at night time I have to put an overcoat on top.

The huns are still being fed by our artillery who never cease pounding away at old Hans, Schwartz & Fritzy.  Our aeroplanes are still "Cocks" of the air as you should know ere this, by the papers, every one was looking skywards this morning trying to find an enemy aeroplane but could find none it was ours.  Not one has been up for more than a week now, they seem to be smashed up.  Our airmen do a terrible lot of damage with their bombs, they never cease going out on these raids day and night.
