I will be glad when I get a letter from Mum, or you, or anyone, especially one of these long ones, with plenty of news. Dads letter is not a bad one, not a long one but plenty in it to see how things are going on. I have also written besides home one to Joe Swane, Mr Stratton, Mr Cudmore, Mrs Anderson, Mrs M. Burnside, Mr & Mrs Oaks, and a few more but have not received any from them. I wish you would tell them my
address, make it you business to go and see them if you dont mind. I often wonder if Cess Moore has joined the colours yet. Have seen young Gasey over in Egypt, he has been to every place like me. I also saw Chook, and George Bourke, who live in Hailshot, where Brownes used to live in Harriette Street. Has hoppy, or Hislop enlisted yet. While I think of it, I
