what Cairo is like when the bands play; we were stopped from using any but the third class cars, but now we are more cheeky, and have all the Liverpool "Muck Ups" here now, that makes it all the more clear. The last letter of yours was absolutely the best I've had of yours for some time, it was a most interesting letter.  Oh! Please will you ask Dad to send me the Town & Country journal, and Sydney mail too, as I always send them to England after. I've done with them. It cheers me up to get an illustrated paper, especially the Sydney ones. Have not struck Mr Hivry yet, but will go there some day. We are leaving this hole on Monday or Tuesday for the Suez Canal; plenty of swimming there though.                      
Well Mother as I have said all the news there is to say (all) I had better finish this letter; hoping to get tons more letters from you and all very shortly.
