As soon as he blew into my hut, some one who knew him sang out, "good - day big Nikko.

I have been over to see him about seven times in succession, so it was highly time he payed me a visit.

Rod is waiting at Weymouth for a boat to take him to Australia, so expect he will reach home in time for Christmas any how is is lucky enough for anything; when he gets home ask him how he used to get on in my dugout.

Last week I was over at Rupe's camp & saw Joss who was staying at Wylie.  Rupe & I got our pockets full of good apples which we devoured with hungry feelings, I only finished eating my share two days ago after having lasted four days.

Had a letter from Auntie Edie, besides two from a girl who lives in Ballarat.  We often get letters from Auntie Annie, Connie & Auntie Florrie.
