thinking about coming over to England no doubt it will take a lot to settle down after the war; most fellows will want to roam about.

The Yanks are loomed up a lot & I think they will do things properly and put all their weight into it at once; these Yanks have seen how we have made some blunders this way and have also learnt from the various armies different ways of doing things the best.

The Sydney Ferries are graballs look out for the black and white boats or are they too big? Thanks for the statement you sent, I had 3 letters telling dates etc.

Dont think I'll be home this year unless I come back for a couple of months leave. They are sending men home for two months clear leave in Australia. Those who have been here from the jump - my name has gone in but it will be some months before I start, there are some before me.

Why does'nt Yvonne train for racing she is good enough to bring some trophies home. She should join some club.
