he got left, and had to get into something else. I expect he will be in the 8th Reinforcements as Dad says. They will arrive in Egypt soon. As I am at Gaba Tepe, on the Peninsula, I shall not see him for some time, but we are all close by, that is the 1, 2, 3, & 4th Battalions. Our 7th reinforcements have been quarantined, they have got measles. I dont think it will a long job this, where we are, but if I am not home for Christmas dont keep the dinner hot, I will have it cold. I'd like to be home now. Get some of these Mosmanites, and Manlyites to enlist and releive us for a month or so. We are going away for a spell soon, but where to I cannot say, or how long either. Well as I have to write to more, I will have to close. Letter going by same mail to Mum & Dad. Dont forget to write often & long ones, longer than mine. Tell dad the paper comes
in handy, also we get plenty of papers from Aust., also from Engd.
