Dont worry about me cos' I'm quite safe and have an idea I'll continue to have good luck in this way. Should be going on leave this month (6th) but am going to Paris instead first. After you go to Paris we have to wait at least two months before we can go over the steam - if we go over the stream we have to wait six months before we go to Paris - I must see Paris before I go home.
Is Rod still at the Bank? Tell him to drop a line as I wrote last.
We have not much time for letters nowadays - I am out this time with another man looking after some good stores; I tried to get up but am sweating on leave that is why I am left behind - it seems a month since the Batt. went up instead of five days, I'll never wait for a pass again.
Good news from all fronts again, that's the stuff to gi'em - the Aussie Light Horsemen have had a good share in the cavalry feats, a batch have gone by again
