we have the superiority both of guns, bombs men, and money  too. This afternoon we sent to poor old Fritzy enough rations to last him for at least a week.  We stirred him up like we stir our tea.  There has been plenty of rain over this side of the world lately, it does rain rain, and makes us wet; and the ground muddy.

There is a lot of excitement just now as the boys have spotted a taube, a very uncommon mi nowadays.  Our planes are up all day and a
good deal at night; they move about in twos, threes or as many as a dozen at a time, dropping bombs and looking for fights. It is perhaps a week or very nearly since we saw a hun machine up.  Very rarely they come near, as our planes are far more superior to theirs.  Time after time our machines go out on bombing raids, drop all the eggs and return.
