but I want it to send a few odds & ends to Rod & besides Rupe may want some for he is going up for an Officers school.  I know you will be wondering what has happened, me being in England again.

The Major has a house now which he & his wife, a maid & myself live in, it's a bosker house quite a change after living amongst grit & dirt for such a long time.

I bought a bike at an auction sale yesterday for 25/-  in good order too.  Three lads were having it all to themselves one said 15/-, another 17/6 & a third pounds £1-0-0, all was quite for a second or two & the auctioneer said all done; NO! 25/- I'll give, Right O yours.  Shall have some fun with the Jack.

Glad to hear Mum is fair, but would like her to get better; Yvonne is getting quite a good writer now had a letter from her along with yours.
