Dear Mother,
As you see by the above address I am again in Blighty, it only being about six weeks since I was here last. You know when I left for my ten days leave, the Major said he would try and keep me until he went back himself, but as he only left after I returned he could not take me. He just returned from his leave after being married to a Miss McArthur (daughter of McArthur Sydney; they have a shop over here too) when he had to leave for here, so he battled hard to get me away in which he suceeded; it will do me in this camp till the duration.
