at tea time we have eggs & cocoa. In the morning we get up at five; have so coffee, or cocoa, go on the march till nine, have breakfast and loof till eleven o'clock, have a lecture till twelve, then we have dinner, and from dinner time up to four loof about. When four comes we get issued with biscuits & eggs then we go for a route march land back at seven. We have had skirmishes & sham fights, extended order etc. Real sojers now trained, fit, ready, willing, & waiting; for TURKS. They'll drop eggs when we chase them. The 6th of the 11th are real savages, the ragtime company. I forgot to mention the way the rocks start from the sea, since we first saw the cape they jut up right out of the water anywhere, just like as if they had been put there.
