II

The three of of us went to Fridays but we found them out so could not go again as we only had one more day, but shall go and see them some other time when we are up in the village again.  The country round here looks very pretty now for the tree are covered with light green leaves; three weeks or a month ago we could not see a sign of a leaf.

Have been up on the mountains on the coast (Corfe Castle) and picked some bosker blue bells and ferns, cowslips, and butter cups; Lulworth cove is pretty too.  I go to all these places on my bicycle (the 25/- bargain) it is as good a pal as anything; sometimes I go for rides on horseback to these places too, I can ride a horse as good as any kid can on Smiths Merry-go-round in the Corso.
