"The Fighting Thirds" (the deep thinking third Division] are over here now, and they seem to think themselves great warriors, I dont know why; everybody you meet has'nt a good word for them.
Sydney will be a another London by the way she is coming on.
So Pat has left after all; it's time too! Rupe has not dropped me a line for a few months now, I dont know what to think, let him go into the artillery as it is the best.
Al the "Skirts" seem to know me, as Iget letters galore from them.
Well so far I have not been to "Blighty" but I expect to be there very soon now, and I will guarantee that I have a good time. Often get letters from Aunt Flo & Annie.
Has Mother bought any more of those seeds which turn into cabbages instead of flowers; when Mum swears in French to the dog for pulling up newly planted seeds I'll be able to compre. Shall take care of that thing you spoke about re Pat; do you still look for my dots, well look.
