Dear Dad,

To-days mail brought me seven letters from Australia the dates ranging from January 18th to the 30th; they had been damaged by water, so the stamp said.  Lately well the last six months I have been neglecting letter writing a good deal but now I have started to get a move on again.

Thank you for the news, also the addresses of the ones I had forgotten, shall put them in a pocket book Gwladys is sending - have still the one she sent while I was on Gallipoli.  She told me she saw you and says she is brown as a berry; water rats.

Rupe had rather a narrow escape eh!  Rod has been wounded, for I received a field card saying so; suppose he will come to blighty soon, & if so I'll go & see him.  Sent another cable for you.

I am wanting a few bob in this camp
