Dear Mother,
At last I am in England. Have been to the London wax works, the Scots Guards, St Pauls, Westminister etc, and all the fashionable Cafes & R Music Halls. London is just another Sydney. Have been to Maple & Cos shop where I found Uncle Ed Friday; and am staying with them. Am having a glorious time, bet your life. Every tube railway in the city of London I have been in, & nearly every bus, tram car. It snows & frosts but it is not as cold as France, they dont get cutting westerly winds like we do. They all ask me 'owes the arbour. Have met some very nice people too. Only another four days to go. I hope a bus runs over me so I'll have
