I suppose you are anxious about me, don't worry over that although it is hard isn't it?  You can bet that I'll keep safe as best I can, Rupe will do likewise I hope. Names are being taken for leave to Australia of all those who left Ausie up to June 1915; it means that two clear months are to be had in the land down under, how long and how many men will go at once is a question I cannot answer, but I have an idea that it will be a few months before my turn comes - we have some old hands in this battalion, besides men who came over with other original units up to that date.  A new order has been issued in regard to service stripes - men who left Aust up to Dec 31st '14 are to have a red stripe, and for every additional year abroad will wear a blue stripe - men leaving Aust after that
