Joss sent me some biscuits & cake last week and I can tell you I made things fly, I felt the currants right enough.
Connie is sending me a parcel tomorrow but its contents I do not know, but you'll hear of them later I hope.
I have at last received the bosker book of views of Sydney, also the postcards, they are absolutely beautiful & have been seen by nearly everyone in this battalion; yesterday I forwarded them on to Auntie Annie & said she could have them for a week, send them to Auntie Flo, she to return them to me; they will know then how we love down South.
There has been more arguments between the Melbournites & Sydneyites than ever I have heard before, over those views; the bulk of our battalion are N.S.W. men & we win with a big margin.
We get plenty of drill here from about
