The object to the undermentioned portion of the description published in the Govt Gazette of the 27th Septr 1848 of the run of Mr Taaffe in the Lachlan District called Muttama and numbered 154 vizt -
- "and crossing Jones's Creek to the boundary of the Kimore run, thence to Messrs MacArthur's boundary at Kooba Creek" -
We object to the foregoing description of the portion of the Southern boundary of Mr Taaffe's run which is formed by our Northern boundary because we have no boundary at Kooba Creek, but claim one more than two miles to the northward of it, and secondly, because the remainder of the description is so vague that it may be construed because a direct line from the North West corner of the Kymo or Kimore run occupied by Mr Andrews through a portion of our run, to Kooba Creek - thus completely disregarding the strongly marked natural features of the Land which have always been considered to form our Northern boundary.
