not signed - soon after the new condition and the bonds were introduced - I now send you a Gazette July 19th containing the condition and the land - by both, the Settler will be obliged to take one convict for every hundred acres of land, and be compelled to comply with all present and future regulations or forfeit his land and the Penalty of the Bond - the present regulation no man can comply with - what the future may be, who can say - Govt can remove of course any Servant at their pleasure however valuable and replace him with the most abandoned convict in the place colony - or they can give you at first all men of that description, and all Prisoners for life - they may be crippled or utterly useless, you have no right to object, and these men you must maintain and clothe as Govt may order as long
