Camden 21st Novr 1848

Sir,

I have the honor to transmit herewith a caveat to the description published in the Govt Gazette of the 27th Septr 1848 of the run No 160 in the Lachlan District called Wantabadgery, & occupied by Mr James Thorn. This description evidently includes a portion of the run owned by us, called Nangus, and numbered 87 in the same Gazette, but it is so very undefined that it is impossible for us to state with any probable degree of accuracy the extent of the encroachment. Our description was not put in until we had had our run completely surveyed by a professional Surveyor and the boundaries defined by following the natural features of the country; to effect which
