TUESDAY - 24TH NOVEMBER 14:
The 3rd. issue of Government Gazette having been completed, 1,500 copies were placed on sale at the Treasury. (Copy attached)
The Troops of 'A' Coy. and detachment of 'B' Coy. were exercised in musketry grouping and application work, at ranges of 25 and 100 yards.
In reply to message received from Minister for Defence respecting W/T Station at Nauru, and referred to in yesterday's diary, the following reply was prepared for dispatch:-
"Secretary Defence: Wireless Station Naura undamaged; mast still standing. See my wireless report to Minister 16th November, also dispatch - Administrator."
Health of troops is satisfactory.
