MONDAY - 2ND NOVEMBER 1914:

At 7-0 p.m. the following message was received from Navy office: -
"Pay Master Livesay promoted Pay Master, seniority 9th October."
and at 7-6 p.m. the "Matunga"  signalled as follows: -
"Arrived Wilhelmshafen; all well."

The decision of Court Martial on No. 568 Corporal D. Watson was announced; the accused was found guilty of refusing to obey orders and conduct prejudicial to good order and military discipline, and was reduced to the ranks with forfeiture of 30 days ordinary pay.

The health of the troops is satisfactory.   A few cases of Dengue Fever in a mild form have been brought under notice, but there is nothing serious.
