FRIDAY -1ST JANUARY 1915:
New Year's Day was observed as a general holiday.
Aquatic Sports were to be held, but owing to the inclemency of the weather were postponed.
Following wireless message was received from Navy Board:-"Is proposed forward 500 tons Westport coal in S.S. "Morinda", leaving Sydney 23rd Decr. to Rabaul for use of Warship. Request that arrangements may be made to unload and store this coal on arrival."
Patients in Hospital are making satisfactory progress.
