P.S.

In connexion with the subject of this letter, we may be permitted to mention the very serious inconvenience and hardship occasioned by the putting up to Auction, at Hartly of Crown Lands for sale or lease, in those corners of the Counties of Georgiana and Westmoreland, to the southward of Mount Werong. The postal and ordinary communications of parties resident or interested in that locality are with Goulburn.

There is no road from there to Hartly, and the journey through the Mountains is most difficult. Lands so situate should, we submit, be put up at Goulburn.
