them to be well founded, and conceiving not merely our own interests, but the welfare of the Community to be endangered, by the system of selling isolated and remote small portions of the Crown Lands, under the specious but deceptive plea of encouraging Agriculture, we have felt it to be our duty to place the subject; with our matured opinions, fully without reserve before His Excellency the Governor General.
