Sir,

I am directed by His Excellency the Governor to inform you, that he has received Instructions from the Earl Bathurst, on the subject of the Land directed to be reserved at Cawdor for the purposes of the Church and School Establishments, part of the Ten thousand seven hundred Acres which you received from Government during the later in Administration; and that having communicated with the Venerable Archdeacon Scott agreeably to His Excellency's Instructions, as to the quantity of Land necessary to be retained and the most suitable situation for the above purposes the Archdeacon has signified that twenty Acres
