been bothering me about a mare.He wants to get one from you to take to Madras, fit to go in harness. Wanted my mare, I said you had nothing; but he was not to be pacified, without my writing to you. Have the goodness, therefore to say something about it when you write to me.

You will see Mac D's note about the Wethers. They want 40. I promised they should be put up & broken in to Corn & hay.

They are to sail on next Sunday fortnight. Murray & Crother propose to pay us a farewell visit on the 25th.

I am sorry to say both the main Springs of your Pistols are broken.
